Terms of Service
Last updated · 2026-04-28
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AnyShop, operated at anyshop.io(the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. What we are
AnyShop is a software-as-a-service platform that lets digital-goods sellers run a hosted storefront, accept payments via their own connected payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, and others), and deliver digital products to buyers. We are not a Merchant of Record. We do not hold, transmit, or take a percentage of seller funds. Payments flow directly between buyer and seller through the seller's own connected processor accounts.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.
3. Subscription and pricing
The Service is offered on a free tier (with a "Powered by AnyShop" checkout footer) and a paid tier at $19 USD per month. The paid tier is billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; your account reverts to the free tier at the end of the current billing period.
4. Your obligations
- Comply with our Acceptable Use Policy and the rules of any payment processor you connect.
- Provide accurate information at signup and keep it up to date.
- Maintain the legal right to sell every product you list. Respond promptly to valid DMCA notices.
- Comply with applicable tax law in your jurisdiction. We do not collect, file, or remit taxes on your behalf.
- Comply with consumer-protection law, including providing buyers with refund rights you advertise.
5. Payment processors and your money
You connect your own Stripe, PayPal, or other supported processor accounts to the Service. The agreement between you and your processor is solely between you and them; we are not a party to it. We do not custody, hold in escrow, or otherwise transmit funds. Disputes, chargebacks, refunds, and payouts are handled through your processor.
We store your processor API keys encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. You may revoke our access at any time by removing your processor keys from the dashboard or by rotating them in your processor's dashboard.
6. Buyer relationships
Buyers contract with you, the seller, when they purchase from your storefront. We provide the platform but are not a party to the sale. Refunds, warranty, fitness for purpose, and customer support are between you and your buyer.
7. Our IP and yours
We retain all rights in the Service, including the software, design, and the "AnyShop" mark. You retain all rights in your products, branding, content, and customer data. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and transmit your content as necessary to operate the Service.
8. Termination and suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, applicable law, or processor rules. We will give you reasonable notice and a chance to cure when the violation isn't severe. On termination, you remain responsible for any obligations to your buyers; we will help you export order data.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service, your products, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AnyShop is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
