The digital-goods category has been broken for a long time. The legacy platforms — SendOwl, e-junkie, GetDPD, Payloadz — all date back to 2002–2010 and run on dashboards that look it. The modern Merchant-of-Record platforms — Lemon Squeezy, Paddle, Creem — solve tax compliance but charge 4–11% of every sale forever in exchange. And the grey-market reseller platforms — Sellix, Sell.app, Sellup — chase the fast money but live one Operation Talent away from getting their MIDs revoked.

The structural mistake all of them make is the same: they sit between the buyer and the seller and take a cut. Lemon Squeezy takes 5% + $0.50 + stacked surcharges. Paddle takes 5% + $0.50. Gumroad takes 10%. SendOwl charges $39–$299 a month with revenue caps. Sell.app takes 3% or charges $199.99 to stop. Even the cheapest, most ethical version of that model — Creem at 3.9% — still takes nearly four cents of every dollar you earn for the rest of the time you sell on their platform.

We built AnyShop to do none of those things.You connect your own Stripe, PayPal, or crypto wallet. Your customer pays you directly. The money goes from their bank to your bank — not through ours. We're a piece of software you can use for free to run your storefront, your checkout, your delivery, your fraud scoring, your custom domains, and your coupons. We don't have a take-rate because we don't have your money.

That single structural decision means we'll never need money-transmitter licensing, never need to be PCI level 1, never need a banking partner, never need to hold customer funds in escrow. It also means our paid tier can be $19 a month — the only difference between Free and Paid is that Paid removes a small "Powered by AnyShop" line on your checkout page. Everything else is identical.

We're shipping the product slice by slice. Today: storefronts, BYOK Stripe + PayPal, five deliverable types, custom domains, per-order fraud scoring, custom checkout fields, cart-level add-ons, abandoned-cart recovery, coupons, and the full operator dashboard with order detail pages and Stripe/Postmark deep-links. We don't court grey-market sellers. We don't do PayPal Friends & Family. We don't support unverified crypto. We do serve every legitimate digital-goods business — at $0 if our checkout footer doesn't bother you, or $19 a month if it does.
