Trust and safety

anyshop is checkout and delivery software for people who sell software and digital products. This page explains who can sell here, what is not allowed, and what we do when something goes wrong.

Anyone we invite can set up a store and use test mode right away. A store cannot take a live payment until every item below is done.

  • A person reviews the storeSomeone on our team looks at every store before it can take live payments, usually within 24 hours.
  • Identity checkStripe and PayPal verify their own sellers. For other payment methods, our staff check ID or business documents.
  • Two-factor sign-inRequired before anyone can connect a payment account to a store.
  • A published refund policyEvery store must publish one. Refunds follow it.

  2. Listing screeningListings that match prohibited terms are held and hidden until a person looks.
  3. Warnings and fixesWe tell the seller what is wrong and what to change.
  4. SuspensionThe store is suspended. Orders that were already paid are still delivered.
  5. TerminationThe store is closed for good.
AppealsAny decision can be appealed once, within 14 days. A different person from the one who made the decision reviews the appeal.
Law enforcementWe cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires it.

Fraud, disputes and who the seller is

  • A shared fraud blocklistWhen anyshop confirms fraud, the buyer is blocked across stores, not just the one they tried.
  • Evidence on every orderEach order keeps delivery evidence, so sellers can answer a dispute with facts.
  • Sellers are the merchant of recordCheckout shows the seller’s name, address and country before card details.
  • Disputes go through the card issuerA buyer who disputes a card payment does so with their card issuer, and it is handled in the seller’s Stripe account.

Security

  • License keys are encrypted the moment they arrive, and each key is delivered exactly once.
  • Two-factor sign-in is required before a payment account can be connected.
  • Report a security issue to security@anyshop.io.
  • Service status is public at status.anyshop.io.
